We were a little worried about turning up to the hotel after the reviews we had read, but we were pleasantly surprised, staff were friendly, room was good, the hotel was undergoing renovations, that are only going to make it even better, location is great!!!!

The a/c gets turned off during the night, in summer the room gets HOT! But we noticed this happened in every hotel we stayed in Italy....

Good location. Within 3 - 5 minutes of slow walk from Lima bus stop and metro, which means there is good connection to/from the central train station and everywhere else in the city. It is situated off Corsa Buenos Aires, one of the main roads bustling with business and shopping. Room condition is excellent, except for the floor in the bath, which gets too slippery when you shampoo, so be careful there. Staff members are friendly and they speak good English. The boss is a fan of old motorcycles, and he placed 3 classic motorcycles - 2 Guzzis and 1 Lambretta - in the hotel lobby, adding a little novelty to an already nice place. Breakfast is fair. Simple but adequate.

No fridge, kettle or coffee/tea-making facilities in the room. But to be fair, I have never had such facilities in any reasonably-priced European hotel I have stayed in. Fairly safe surrounding as there are always people around, but a few characters make you want to watch your back. Keep valuables and children in check, as in any large cities.

Front desk service was excellent: they help us with a late check-in and also helped with leaving luggage storage after check out for couple of hours. Breakfast was simple but good.

I really like it the way it is for the prices and location it has, but perhaps a bit more of decoration/design details in the room could brighten the space a bit more. As i find is very contrasting from the refurbished look of its reception, however that is just a suggestion not a complain.

Hotel Serena has a good location by metro, easy walking distance. Also not far away you find plenty of shops. They gave us a room with a nice big balcony however the room was rather small.

We really had difficulties to take a shower as it was extremely small, it was hard to make a step in it. Breakfast was very poor, no fruit, no cereal, just ham, cheese, bread and croissants. For 3 star I would expect more. Dont take a breakfast, rather enjoy some nice bfast in one of the cafes.

Yes, completely reformed hotel. Nice breakfast and good location, 2 underground stops away from Milan central station.

The location is just amazing, really close to the central station of milan and next to corso buenos aires where some great shopping can be done, also the lima metro staion is very close, the locaion is just strategic. Really nice hotel with polite and friendly staff and good facilities.

The breakfast was not the best but it was ok, it was too simple and lacked "substance" like eggs or something.

Unfortunately there was a dispute with a fellow guest with the hotel manager whilst I was trying to check in. Manager should have taken the time to request they took a seat whilst check-in other guests or get another member to staff to check-in other guests whilst he dealt with the issue

Clean, excellent location on Corso Buenos-Aires, 50 m from metro station. Price was ok for Milan for comparing with other hotels.

Rooms are extremelly small, breakfast is modest, internet very expensive. Nothing that can really spoil vacation...
